Support - Land for Maine's Future Program

THE ISSUE: 

The Land for Maine's Future Program has been out of funds since January 2004 when the program committed the last of its monies. Thanks to strong bipartisan support in the legislature there is now a chance to renew funding for the program. But we need your help today!

Senator Mary Andrews (R-York) is sponsoring a bill that would replenish the Land for Maine's Future Program with $75 million dollars over four years. The bill is "An Act To Authorize A General Fund Bond Issue for the Land for Maine's Future Program".  Legislative leaders have offered to open up this bill and allow many co-sponsors to add their names in support.
