Exxpose Exxon News Event

July, 11, 2005. Below, Glen Brand, National Field Coordinator for the Sierra Club Global Warming & Energy Program, speaks out about ExxonMobil's harmful practices at a News Event in Deering Park, Portland.

Also at the event were Helen Anderson, Maine Chapter volunteer (above, left), and Leanne Krudner, Maine Chapter Administrative Assistant (below, left).

The event was in partnership with Environment Maine.  Below, Matt Davis and Glen Brand both speak out to reveal the truth about the world’s largest and most profitable oil company’s actions, which include actively lobbying Congress to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling, trying to avoid paying all the damages due to those harmed by the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill, and funding organizations that work to discredit the science behind global warming.
